How to Use Riot Control Equipment Correctly?

The correct use of riot control equipment must adhere to three principles: "legality, safety, and effectiveness." The core is mastering the equipment's functions, standardizing operating procedures, and strengthening teamwork. The following is a breakdown of guidelines based on practical standards:

Riot Control Shield: The Art of Offense and Defense in a Mobile Fortress

Shield Holding Posture: Hold the handle with your right hand and the adjustment strap with your left. The top edge of the shield should be slightly higher than your head. Stand with your legs apart, chest slightly tucked in, abdomen drawn in, eyes looking forward, maintaining a stable center of gravity.

Four Defensive Techniques

Top Defense: When facing a slash, push off with your right foot, step forward with your left, and push the shield diagonally upwards to block the weapon at the wrist.

Side Defense: When facing a side attack or encirclement, turn right and push the shield to protect your right side; turn left and push the shield to protect your left side.

Footwork and movements should be coordinated.

Preventing Splashes and Throws: Quickly raise the shield to cover your head and face, creating a closed protective zone.

Fall Defense: Immediately curl up to protect your head, and cover your torso with your shield to prevent secondary injury.

Counter-Attack Control Points: After a successful block, use the shield surface or protrusions to deliver a swift thrust to the opponent's torso and hands, creating stun and disrupting their balance, giving teammates an opportunity to subdue them. Strike vital areas such as the head, neck, and groin.

Riot Helmet: Key Equipment for Comprehensive Protection

Correct Wearing Procedure:
Select the appropriate size and check the seal between the waterproof rubber strip on the visor and the shell.

Open the visor, tilt the helmet forward to put it on, adjust the tightness of the straps, and fasten the buckles securely.

Pull down the visor to ensure a tight seal.

Precautions for Use:
The chin strap must be fastened tightly to prevent it from slipping off.

The helmet should be discontinued or inspected after a significant impact.

Do not apply corrosive solvents to avoid damaging the material strength.

The helmet has a service life of three years and must be replaced after that period.
