Troubleshooting
1. Device Does Not Power On
Check that the battery is installed with the correct polarity.
Verify that the battery has sufficient charge.
Ensure the ambient light is not too bright. The night vision device is designed to operate in low-light or night-time conditions.
2. Blurred or Unclear Image
Check whether the eyepiece and objective lens are clean.
In night-time conditions, make sure the objective lens cap has been removed. Do not remove the lens cap during daytime operation.
Verify that the eyepiece diopter has been properly adjusted according to the operating instructions.
Verify that the objective lens is correctly focused according to the focusing instructions.
In completely dark environments, ensure that the built-in infrared (IR) illuminator is turned on.
3. Automatic Detection Function Does Not Work
If the automatic bright light protection does not function in AUTO mode, check whether the ambient light sensor is obstructed.
If the device does not automatically power off when flipped up, or does not automatically power on when returned to the viewing position while mounted on a helmet, check that the helmet mount is correctly installed and securely attached to the device. Refer to the Helmet Mount Installation Instructions for proper installation.
Precautions
Bright Light Protection
This device is equipped with an automatic bright light protection system that helps protect the image intensifier tube when exposed to strong light sources. While this feature significantly reduces the risk of damage, repeated or prolonged exposure to intense light may still cause cumulative degradation over time. To maximize the service life of the device, avoid prolonged or frequent exposure to bright light environments whenever possible.
Moisture Protection
The device is designed with water-resistant protection and can be configured with an ingress protection rating of up to IP67 (optional). However, long-term exposure to high humidity or excessively damp conditions may gradually affect the performance and lifespan of the device. For best results, store the unit in a clean and dry environment when not in use.
Use and Storage
This product is a precision optoelectronic instrument and should be operated in accordance with the user instructions. If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery before storage. Store the unit in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated location, protected from direct sunlight, dust, excessive moisture, and physical impact.
Service and Repair
If the device becomes damaged during operation or as a result of improper use, do not attempt to disassemble or repair it yourself. Unauthorized disassembly may cause further damage and may void the warranty. Please contact your authorized dealer or service provider for professional assistance
